I was interviewed by Science Careers writer, Elisabeth Pain, about my own personal struggles with mental health during graduate school and about what classmates and I did in response to the tragic loss of our friend, Paul in 2013. Together with Jaclyn Ho, Jennifer Schwedler, Drew Friedmann, Cris Alvaro, Rebecca Lu, Akemi Kunibe, Adrienne Greene, and Nick Ellis, we created the MCB Grad Network, dedicated to provide support for everything needed for complete success in grad school.
